The delegation of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association met yesterday with the President of the Cameroonian Olympic Committee, Mr Hamad Kalkaba, and several officials from the Olympic Committee in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé, to discuss ways of cooperation and the development of sports in member countries. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association delegation’s participation in the meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which aims to enhance cooperation and meet with several officials there. During his meeting with the President of the Cameroonian Olympic Committee, the Secretary General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association, Mr Nasser Majali, praised Cameroon’s significant role in supporting ISSA and its continuous efforts in developing sports and achieving its goals. Majali also conveyed the greetings of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association, and his appreciation for Cameroon’s active role in enhancing sports cooperation among member countries. The meeting also discussed the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association’s strategy for the upcoming period, which was approved by the General Assembly, and ways of future cooperation between ISSA and the Cameroonian Olympic Committee. The Islamic Solidarity Sports Association is committed to visiting member countries and holding meetings with sports officials to enhance cooperation and develop programs and plans that contribute to sports development.
